Ireland
English-speaking common law country inside the European Union and the euro, which is a combination no other member state offers. Dublin has been a fund servicing centre since the late 1980s and is now the largest administration hub in Europe.
Its draw is the same passport Luxembourg sells, reached through a legal system and a language that Anglophone managers already work in. One body regulates the funds and sets monetary policy as part of the Eurosystem, which is unusual. The investment limited partnership and the ICAV are the forms these routes are built in, both authorised as one of the categories below rather than standing on their own.
