This one day event in London will be devoted to the way in which digital innovation and technological advances are shaping the global alternative investment industry, covering everything from trading and execution, through to asset raising, data security and regulatory compliance. The 2024 AIMA survey on Generative AI (Gen AI) found that a quarter of larger hedge funds expect Gen AI tools to become part of their investment decision-making process in the next 12 months and 86% of hedge fund managers polled currently allow Gen AI tools to be used to support their employees’ work. Data security is also at the forefront of minds with 80% of organisations saying they plan to increase their spending on information security in 20241 (Gartner).
